PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a decoration material in a form which can be worked into an accessory or the like, which shows the light emission or color development of respectively different hues under visible light, black light (ultraviolet rays) and IR light (infrared rays). SOLUTION : The decoration material is indicated by the chemical formula of RVO4, R is at least one kind of rare earth elements selected from Sc, Y, La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Pm, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb and Lu, and it is obtained by synthesizing original raw materials without melting the raw materials.
