PURPOSE : To provide a drain water treatment apparatus in which a foreign material deposition section is formed such that earth and sand or foreign materials contained in water stored in a catchment tank are not flown into a drain pump to reduce breakdown of the drain pump and increase durability of the drain pump, and which blocks foreign materials discharged into a drainpipe. CONSTITUTION : A drain water treatment apparatus comprises : an inflow port into which water of surface water or rainwater flows; a catchment tank in which water flown into the inflow port is collected; a waterproofing overflow plate(70) which divides an inner space of the catchment tank into a sedimentation tank(62) for settling foreign materials and a water storage tank(66) for storing water, and on which a passage(72) is formed such that the passage allows water of the sedimentation tank to flow into the water storage tank; and a discharge means comprising a water level measuring sensor(92) installed at one side of the water storage tank to discharge water to the outside when water stored in the water storage tank has a certain water level or more, and a control panel for operating a drain pump(90) by a signal received from the sensor. © KIPO 2006
