PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide the upper slab of a septic tank used for the upper part on septic tank embedding easy in horizontal levelling without placing concrete and capable of reducing a construction period. SOLUTION : In the upper slab panel used at the time when an underground tank such as a septic tank is embedded in the earth, the material of the panel is made of a thermoplastic resin, hard foamed plastics in which water absorption according to JIS A 9511 is ≤0.1g/100 cm2and density is ≤0.05 g/cm3 is used as a core material, the epidermal face is made of an unfoamed or hard plastic molding having a density of ≥0.9 g/cm3, and at least one face in the slab panel is made of the covered thermoplastic resin molding. The embedding method uses the same.
