PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide ink for forming the light emitting layer of an LED device which allows the fabrication of an LED device which excels in color purity, color rendering, and durability; and also to provide the LED device. SOLUTION : The ink for forming the light emitting layer of the LED device is made by dissolving or diffusing a rare earth complex having a condensed ring of three or more rings or its derivative as a legand and a fluorine-based polymer with at least part of hydrogen atoms replaced by fluorine atoms into the mixed solvent of a fluorine-replaced solvent with part of hydrogen atoms replaced by fluorine atoms and a fluorine non-replaced solvent containing no fluorine atoms.
