Said method for forming a metal supported solid oxide fuel cell comprises applying a green anode layer to a metal substrate, said layer containing nickel oxide, copper oxide and rare earth-doped ceria, wherein nickel oxide, copper oxide and rare earth-doped ceria are ground into a powder with particle size distribution d90 in the range of 0.1 to 4 mcm; firing the green anode layer to form a composite material containing nickel and copper oxides, as well as rare-doped ceria; providing an electrolyte and providing a cathode. There is also a solid oxide fuel cell with a metal support, as well as a stack of fuel cells and the use of a fuel cell. EFFECT : group of inventions makes it possible to increase the stability of the fuel cell with respect to multiple reduction-oxidation cycles. 16 cl, 8 dwg
