PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To obtain a silicone-based pressure sensitive adhesive to form a pressure sensitive adhesive layer having a good re-releasability after the exposure to a high temperature, and to prepare an adhesive tape having a good re-releasability after the exposure to a high temperature. SOLUTION : The silicone-based pressure sensitive adhesive comprises at least the following (A) through (D). (A) : a mixture of (a) a natural-rubbery organopolysiloxane having in one molecule on the average one or more of alkylene groups and (b) an organopolysiloxane resin consisting essentially of a unit of R13SiO1/2(wherein, R1 is a substituted or unsubstituted monovalent hydrocarbyl group) and a unit of SiO4/2; or a partially condensed reactant from the above (a) component and the above (b) component. (B) : an organopolysiloxane having in one molecule on the average two or more of hydrogen atoms bonding to a silicon atom. (C) : an organosiloxane containing an aromatic amine compound and/or an aromatic amino group, and (D) : a platinum-based catalyst. The adhesive tape has a silicone-based pressure sensitive adhesive layer based on the curing of this pressure sensitive adhesive.
