PURPOSE : A water-redispersible polymer powder composition containing at least one pozzolan component is provided, which improves a mechanical strength of a cured mortar and can be used for chemical products for buildings and for producing a tile adhesive and a perfect insulation adhesive. CONSTITUTION : The water-redispersible polymer powder composition contains a base material comprising : a homopolymer or a copolymer of at least one monomer selected from the group consisting of a vinyl ester of C1-C15 unbranched or branched alkyl carboxylic acid, a methacryl ester and an acryl ester of C1-C15 alcohol, a vinyl aromatic compound, an olefin, a diene, and a vinyl halide : at least one protective colloid; if necessary, an antiblocking agent. And the water-redispersible polymer powder composition contains at least one pozzolan selected from the group consisting of pumice, trass, santorin earth, kieselguhr, hornstone, chert, moler earth, ground brick, fly ash, silica dust, oil shale ash, and calcined kaolin. © KIPO 2005
