PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a compressor that has demagnetization tolerance even when the amount of Dy (dysprosium) contained in a rare earth magnet for use in a motor is reduced. SOLUTION : A compressor according to the present invention comprises a compression element for compressing a coolant, and a 6 pole motor that drives the compression element and that has a rotor using a neodymium rare earth magnet including iron, neodymium, boron, and 4 wt.% or less of dysprosium.
