PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide flaky graphite cast iron which can maintain high strength by suppressing the coarsening of eutectic cells even if a relatively large amount of Ti is comprised therein.SOLUTION : By weight, 0.03 to 0.09% S and 0.03 to 0.20% rare earth elements are compositely added to flaky graphite cast iron comprising 3.1 to 3.5% C, 1.8 to 2.4% Si, 0.3 to 0.8% Mn and 0.02 to 0.04% Ti, and the balance Fe.
