PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a hydrogen generating cell capable of efficiently generating hydrogen from water vapor, a concentration-type hydrogen generating cell, and a hydrogen production apparatus.
SOLUTION : A hydrogen generating cell A is formed from a composite of ceramic particles 1 having a compositional formula of AXO3±δ, where 0≤δ≤1, A : at least one kind of a rare earth element, an alkali earth element and an alkali metal element, X : at least one kind of a transition metal element and a metalloid element, and O : oxygen, and metal particles primarily containing at least one kind of element selected from the group consisting of Rh, Ru, Pd, Pt, Ni, Co and Fe, the composite being housed in a housing filled with a gas. A concentration-type hydrogen generating cell B comprises a hydrogen generating part 11 that is formed of the above hydrogen generating cell and a light absorbing part 13.
