PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an information providing system that secures privacy and security by encryption on an information acquiring terminal and maintains a secure protection function by encryption seamless to end users.
SOLUTION : An information providing system 1 includes : an information acquiring terminal; an information selection exchange server; and a user terminal. The information acquiring terminal acquires information to be provided to the user terminal, first encrypts the provided information, adds an attribute, and outputs it to the information selection exchange server. The information selection exchange server accumulates the first encrypted provided information outputted by the information acquiring terminal together with the attribute and re-encrypts the first encryption made in the provided information to perform second encryption on the provided information of the attribute corresponding to the user terminal which can be decoded by the user terminal. The user terminal acquires the second encrypted provided information on the basis of the corresponding attribute.
