PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide : an electrode material which enables the improvement in an input characteristic of a lithium ion secondary battery; an electrode including the electrode material; and a lithium ion secondary battery having the electrode.
SOLUTION : An electrode material for a lithium ion secondary battery according to the present invention comprises core particles of a substance represented by the general formula, LiFexMn1-x-yMyPO4 (where 0.05≤x≤1.0 and 0≤y≤0.14, provided that M is at least one kind element selected from Mg, Ca, Co, Sr, Ba, Ti, Zn, B, Al, Ga, In, Si, Ge and rare earth elements), and a carbonaceous coating which covers the surface of each core particle. As to the electrode material, the ratio (ID/IG) of a D band peak intensity and a G band peak intensity in Raman spectra obtained by Raman spectroscopic measurement is 1.10 or more and 1.55 or less, and the ratio (DBP/NMP) of a DBP oil absorption and a NMP oil absorption is 1.3 or less. An electrode for a lithium ion secondary battery according to the invention comprises the electrode material for a lithium ion secondary battery according to the invention. A lithium ion secondary battery according to the invention comprises a positive electrode, a negative electrode and a nonaqueous electrolyte, which has, as the positive electrode, the electrode for a lithium ion secondary battery according to the invention.
