PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an R-T-B based rare earth magnet which enables the enhancement in magnetic property and which is wide in sintering temperature stable area.
SOLUTION : An R-T-B based rare earth magnet, where R is one or more kinds of rare earth elements, T is Fe, or one or more kinds of transition metal elements including Fe and Co as essential constituents, and B is boron, provided that the content of B is 0.80 mass% or more and 0.98 mass% or less to a total amount of the R-T-B based rare earth magnet, includes R1T4B4 phases.
