The application concerns a method for separating lanthanide from a metal alloy comprising at least one transition metal and at least one lanthanide, said method comprising the steps of : a) providing a metal alloy comprising at least one transition metal and at least one lanthanide, b) bringing the metal alloy into contact with an aqueous solution of phosphoric acid, thus obtaining a medium comprising a liquid phase L1 and a solid phase S1 comprising the phosphates of at least one lanthanide, c) filtering the medium to separate the liquid phase L1 and the solid phase S1 comprising the phosphates of at least one lanthanide. |
