PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an imine compound having a bis-silylamino group and a method of producing the compound.SOLUTION : The imine compound has a bis-silylamino group represented by formula (1) where R-Rare monovalent C1-20 hydrocarbon groups; Ris a bivalent C1-10 hydrocarbon group; Rand Rare hydrogen atoms, or monovalent C1-20 hydrocarbons; and Rand R, and Rand Rmay each independently form rings with linked carbons by linking each other.EFFECT : The imine compound having the bis-silylamino group can react with an imino group without deactivating an active metal end terminal particularly when used as an anion polymerization end terminal modifier, and can construct a highly reactive primary amino group by removing the silyl groups after reaction.SELECTED DRAWING : None |
