简介 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a negative electrode active substance material superior in initial charge/discharge efficiency and charge and discharge cycle characteristics. SOLUTION : A negative electrode active substance material comprises alloy particles having a chemical composition which includes, by at%, Sn of 10 to 25%, Si of 3 to 15%, and a rare earth element of 0.2 to 0.6% with the balance consisting of Cu and impurities. In an X-ray diffraction profile, the alloy particles include such phases that a maximum diffraction peak, i.e. a peak of diffracted rays having the maximum integrated diffraction intensity, appears in a range of diffraction angles 2θ=42.0 to 44.0 degrees; and the half-value width of the maximum diffracted rays of alloy particles is 0.15 to 2.5 degrees.
