简介 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a sealing method that utilizes a microwave energy source and a sealing composition. SOLUTION : A sealing composition includes glass frit and a microwave coupling additive. The glass frit includes, before firing, 25 to 65 mol% of Bi2O3, 3 to 60 mol% of ZnO, 4 to 65 mol% of B2O3, and 0.1 to 15 mol% of at least one selected from the group consisting of CuO, Fe2O3, Co2O3, Cr2O3, and the combinations thereof, but does not intentionally include silicon oxide and aluminum oxide. The microwave coupling additive is selected from the group consisting of gadolinium, dysprosium, MnBi alloy, MnSb alloy, MnAs alloy, MgO Fe2O3, Y3Fe5O12, alkali earth titanate, rhenium titanate, rhenium-bismuth titanate, rare earth salts of titanate, and combinations thereof.
