A light emitting device, comprising : a light emitting element and a light conversion portion; the light conversion portion absorbs primary light emitted from the light emitting element and converts the same into secondary light having a higher wavelength; the light conversion portion contains a light emitting material, the light emitting material comprising an organic complex, wherein the organic complex is composed of a tetrapyrrole macrocyclic ligand A, a rare earth ion Ln, and a deuterated or halogenated tripod ligand B. A porphyrin ligand of the organic complex in the light emitting material has high sensitization efficiency (70%-100%), external quantum dot efficiency, and light emitting stability. When the light emitting material is applied to the light emitting device, the light emitting efficiency and stability of the light emitting device are increased. In addition, the use of different rare earth ions or a combination of rare earth ions may achieve the adjustment and control of the emission peak position and peak width, thereby improving the light emitting performance thereof. |
