According to the present invention, one surface of a solid electrolyte layer 9 containing Zr is provided with an intermediate layer 4 containing CeO2, in which a rare earth element (excluding Ce) is solid-solved, and a first electrode layer 1 in this order. The other surface of the solid electrolyte layer 9, said other surface being on the reverse side of the one surface, is provided with a second electrode layer 7; the intermediate layer 4 comprises a first layer 4a that is positioned on the solid electrolyte layer 9 side and a second layer 4b that is positioned on the first electrode layer 1 side, while being disposed on the first layer 4a; and the first layer 4a has a higher concentration of the rare earth element than the second layer 4b. |
