Provided is a ferrite sintered magnet which has a ferrite phase having a magnetoplumbite-type crystal structure. When the composition of the ferrite sintered magnet is represented by R1-xAxFem-yCoy (where, R is at least one element selected from rare earth elements including Y, and A is an element comprising Ca, or Ca and at least one selected from among Sr and Ba), x, y, and m satisfy equations (1), (2), and (3) below. The content of B in the ferrite sintered magnet is 0.1-6.0 mass% in terms of B2O3. (1) 0.2≤x≤0.8, (2) 0.1≤y≤0.65, and (3) 3≤m<14. |
