PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an inexpensive fiber laser device which has superior heat dissipation property.
SOLUTION : A fiber laser device 1 comprises an optical fiber amplifier including exciting light sources 21A, 21B which output exciting light and an optical fiber 28 for amplification having a core to which a rare earth element is added. The fiber laser device 1 comprises : input-side optical fibers 40, 41 connected to an input side of the optical fiber amplifier; output-side optical fibers 30, 31 connected to an output side of the optical fiber amplifier; an input-side clad exposure part 45 where clads of the input-side optical fibers 40, 41 are exposed; output-side clad exposure parts 46, 47 where clads of the output-side optical fibers 30, 31 are exposed; and a first refrigerant tank 14 containing a first refrigerant 71 having a refractive index equal to or higher than the refractive indexes of the clads of the input-side clad exposure part 45 and the output-side clad exposure parts 46, 47. The input-side clad exposure part 45 and the output-side clad exposure parts 46, 47 are dipped in the first refrigerant 71 in the first refrigerant tank 14.
