PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an electric blower and a vacuum cleaner, which are highly reliable with the adhesive strength stabilized. SOLUTION : An electric blower comprises a rotor that has a shaft provided rotatably and a rare earth-based bonded magnet formed integrally with one end portion of the shaft. The rotor has an impeller mounted to the other end portion of the shaft and a bearing mounted to the shaft between the bonded magnet and the impeller. The electric blower comprises a housing provided with a bearing cover for supporting the bearing. The bearing cover has a boding part inner diameter Dd with a clearance from the outer circumference Db of the bearing (Dd>Db), and in the bore of a front opening end, has a stepped portion inner diameter De larger than the bonding part inner diameter Dd (De>Dd).
