PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a modified conjugated diene polymer using a modifier of quinazoline derivative, and a catalyst relatively easy to handle; and a rubber composition and the like, containing the same and having excellent wear resistance and fuel economy.
SOLUTION : A modified conjugated diene polymer is obtained by modifying a conjugated diene polymer, which is obtained by polymerizing a conjugated diene compound using a catalyst obtained from (A) a rare earth metal compound, (B) an organic metal compound of an element selected from group 2, group 12, and group 13 in the periodic table, and (C) an ionic compound composed of a non-coordinating anion and cation, with (D) a quinazoline derivative.
