The present invention provides a rare earth ion-doped germanate eutectic material. The chemical formula of the eutectic material is Re4xBi4(1-x)Ge3O12/Bi 12GeO20, wherein the rare earth ion Re is any one of Nd, Yb, Tm, Ho, Er, Pr, Dy, and Sm, and the range of the value of X is 0.003-0.03. Moreover, the present invention also provides a preparation method for the eutectic material : taking Bi2O3, GeO2, and doped rare earth oxide powder as raw materials, using a preparation method of a micro-pulling-down method, setting a series of technical parameters, and finally obtaining the eutectic material. In the present invention, the eutectic material having two coexisting crystal grains can be finally obtained, so that the eutectic material, compared with existing single crystal materials, is wider in luminescent band and wider in application range when being used for tunable laser output. |
