Disclosed is a drive motor for a vehicle capable of reducing no-load loss. According to an embodiment of the present invention, in a drive motor for a vehicle which has a stator disposed on the outer side and a rotor disposed at the center, the rotor includes a rotor core and a rare earth permanent magnet inserted into a predetermined position of the rotor core to form a magnetic field, and the stator includes stator cores disposed at predetermined intervals and a stator coil wound around the stator cores. A value obtained by dividing the outer diameter of the rotor by the outer diameter of the stator is 0.66, and a weight ratio of the permanent magnet to the rotor core in the rotor is 0.224.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2018 |
