简介 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a mechanism which brings a large displacement amplification gain and efficiently converts large output work.SOLUTION : A buckling type actuator 100 includes : an output section 14; piezoelectric elements 10L and 10R which are symmetrically arranged to the output section 14; caps 10Lc, 10Le, 10Rc and 10Re arranged on both sides of the piezoelectric elements 10L and 10R; side blocks 12L and 12R which are rotatably brought into contact with the caps 10Le and 10Re; and a frame 24 for rigidly coupling the side blocks 12L and 12R. The output section 14 is held between the caps 10Lc and 10Rc with rotary contact and generates output corresponding to applied voltage to the piezoelectric elements 10L and 10R.
