PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide rare earth-ferrous magnet powder for bond magnet having a surface coating film which is excellent in moldability of a resin composition for bond magnet and can improve a mechanical strength of the obtained molded bond magnet and a method for producing the same; a resin composition for bond magnet; and a bond magnet.
SOLUTION : Rare earth-ferrous magnet powder for bond magnet has a coating film on a powder surface, where the coating film contains iron (Fe), phosphorus (P), oxygen (O), a rare earth element (RE) and carbon (C), when a surface coating film composition is analyzed with X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and the total of Fe, P, O, RE and C is 100 atom%, Fe/RE ratio is 20 or more, P is 7-25 atom%, O is 45-70 atom%, RE is 2 atom% or less and C is 5-30 atom%, and a film thickness is 1 nm or more and 100 nm or less.
