简介 A method for removing radioactive substances from lanthanum extracting waste water. The lanthanum extracting waste water is raffinate after lanthanum extraction from southern ion type rare earth ore; the concentration of calcium ions is 500-5, 000 mg/L, the total ɑ concentration is 30-70, 000 Bq/L, the total β concentration is 30-8, 000 Bq/L, and the pH is 2-5. The method comprises the following steps : adding sodium carbonate to the lanthanum extracting waste water, adjusting the pH to be 7-10, stirring for 1-4 hours, stewing, extracting supernatant and then filtering, precipitates being radioactive waste residues, and the supernatant being the waste water after removal of radioactive substances. According to the method, the radioactive substances can be removed from the waste water thoroughly, and the process is simple.
