PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To achieve a high-speed VM changeover in an NFV technique.
SOLUTION : A server 1, on detecting the abnormality of a VM3, which is a packet transfer destination, causing the changeover of the VM3, rewrites first correspondence between a transfer destination MAC address and a VM port number before the changeover to first correspondence between the MAC address and a VM port number after the changeover. Based on the rewritten first correspondence and second correspondence between a transfer destination VM port number after the changeover and the transfer destination MAC address and the transfer destination IP address, the server 1 determines, from a coincident port number, the VM transfer destination MAC address after the changeover and the transfer destination IP address, to rewrite the transfer destination MAC address and the transfer destination IP address, included in a packet header received from an external network, to the determined MAC address and the IP address, so as to transfer the rewritten packet to the VM3 after the changeover.
