The present invention provides a method for manufacturing a rare earth magnet which comprises the steps of : preparing a rare earth magnet sintered body containing R, Fe, and B as a component; aging a heavy rare earth hydrogen compound under an organic solvent; placing the aged heavy rare earth hydrogen compound on the surface of the sintered body and wet-coating the same; and performing grain boundary diffusion by treating a coated material with heat. The method can improve coercive force of a magnet while reducing a heavy rare earth usage.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017 |
