PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a fluophor having a composition of a rare earth aluminum gallium acid salt, which radiates lights not only in visible light region but also near-infrared region and has enhanced light emission intensity.
SOLUTION : There is provided a fluophor having a composition of a rare earth aluminum gallium acid salt containing at least one kind of rare earth element Ln selected from a group consisting of Y, Gd, Sc, Lu and La and at least one kind of element selected from Al and Ga, Ce and Nd, with total molar composition ratio of Ln, Ce and Nd of 3 based on total molar composition ration of Al and Ga of 5, molar composition ratio of Ce of a product of 3 and x, molar composition ratio of Nd of a product of 3 and y, x of 0.003 to 0.015 and y of 0.002 to 0.06.
