PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a cosmetic in which pH is hardly changed with time and hydrolysis of allantoin is suppressed, and which has excellent stability and has a good feeling of use.SOLUTION : The cosmetic contains (A) 0.01-0.8 mass% of allantoin or a salt thereof, (B) 0.01-3 mass% of an anionic surfactant selected from (b1) N-acyl glutamic acid or a salt thereof having an acyl group of carbon number 8-22, and (b2) N-acyl aspartic acid or a salt thereof having an acyl group of carbon number 8-22, (C) 0.02-5 mass% of a compound represented by general formula (1) : (Ris a hydrocarbon group of carbon number 4-30; Z is a methylene group etc.; X, X, and Xare hydrogen atoms etc., Xis a hydrogen atom, an acetyl group, etc.; Rand Rare a hydrogen atom, a hydroxyl group, etc.; Ris a hydrocarbon group of carbon number 5-60; Ris a hydrogen atom, and a hydrocarbon group with total carbon number of 1-30; the dashed line part indicates that it may be an unsaturated bond), and (D) water, and has the pH of 4.0-6.0 at 25°C immediately after production. |
