A method for manufacturing a rare earth permanent magnet according to the present invention comprises a preparation process of preparing raw material powder which consists of a rare earth alloy containing a rare earth element and iron, and has a particle size of 2 to 10 μ m; a process of filling the raw material powder into a molding die; a pulse current applying process of applying the pulse current of a high magnetic field to the filled raw material powder; and a process of performing simultaneously compressing and molding processes while applying the direct current of a low magnetic field after the pulse current applying process.
