PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method for simply detecting a harmful chemical compound such as a very small amount of agricultural chemical mixed into food, and a detection device.SOLUTION : A chemical compound detection method according to the present embodiment includes : an extraction step for a chemical compound having a phosphor-oxygen double bond, a sulfur-oxygen double bond, a carbon-oxygen double bond that are included in a test object, or an unshared electron pair of nitrogen atoms; a reaction step for bringing the chemical compound extracted in the extraction step into contact with rare earth ions constituting a rare earth complex and causing it to react with the rare earth ions; and a detection step for detecting one of light emission intensity, light emission lifetime, and light emission spectral shape transition caused by reaction in the reaction step, and thereby detecting the chemical compound.SELECTED DRAWING : Figure 1 |
