PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a superconductive wire capable of being manufactured with relatively simple manufacturing processes at low cost, having sufficiently high residual resistivity ratio (RRR), and capable of being used stably, and a superconductive coil consisting of the superconductive wire.
SOLUTION : There is provided a superconductive wire having a single wire consisting of a superconductor and a superconductive stabilization material arranged with contacting with the single wire, the superconductive stabilization material consisting of a copper material containing one or more kinds of additional element selected from Ca, Sr, Ba, rare earth element (RE) in a range of total 3 mass ppm to 400 mass ppm and the balance Cu with inevitable impurities and having total concentration of the inevitable impurities excluding O, H, C, N and S which are gas components of 5 mass ppm to 100 mass ppm, and a compound containing one or more kinds selected from CaS, CaSO4, SrS, SrSO4, BaSO4, (RE)S (RE)2SO2 exists inside of a base phase.
