PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a dielectric ceramic composition having good characteristics under high electric field intensity, especially, IR characteristics and good high temperature load life.
SOLUTION : A dielectric ceramic composition contains a main component made of a perovskite type compound represented by a composition formula (Ba1-x-ySrxCay)m(Ti1-ZZrZ)O3, a first auxiliary component made of an oxide of a rare earth element and a second auxiliary component as a sintering aid, the dielectric ceramic composition contains dielectric particles 21 having high diffusivity of the rare earth element, preferably, contains complete solid particles, and when concentration of Ti atom in a diffusion phase 21b is 100 atom%, average concentration of rare earth element R in the diffusion phase 21b is 5 atom% or more, and average concentration of Zr in the diffusion phase 21b is 10 atom% or more.
