PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method of separating rare cells with a high yield.
SOLUTION : A method of separating rare cells comprising : a capturing step of filtering a liquid containing rare cells with a filter and capturing the rare cells on the surface of the filter; a transfer step of transferring the rare cells captured on the surface of the filter to a film-like transfer membrane which is adhesive on at least one side to hold the rare cells on one side of the transfer membrane; and a recovery step of recovering the rare cells from the transfer membrane.
