PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a coating method and a coated article including a virgin powder particle and a recycled powder particle.
SOLUTION : The coating method is provided that comprises forming a first layer 300 on a substrate 200 and forming a second layer 302 on the first layer 300. Forming the first layer 300 includes applying a virgin powder particle 204 containing at least one or more rare-earth doped ceramic oxide 206 onto the substrate 200. Forming the second layer 302 includes applying onto the first layer 300, a recycled powder particle 204 including one or more kind of a rare-earth-oxide doped ceramic oxide 206, and one or more kind of a foreign material, or forming a mixture of the powder particle by mixing the virgin powder particle 204 and the recycled powder particle 208, and coating the substrate 200 with the mixture. A coated article 100 is also provided in which a coating 202 on the substrate 200 is comprised of the virgin powder particle 204 of one or more kinds of the rare-earth-oxide doped ceramic oxide and the recycled powder particle 208 including one or more kinds of the rare-earth-oxide doped ceramic oxide 206 and one or more kinds of the foreign material.
