PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method of manufacturing alicyclic (meth)acrylates capable of manufacturing alicyclic (meth)acrylates without going through a complicated process and generating large amount of drain, and capable of manufacturing alicyclic (meth)acrylates having various isomer compositions.SOLUTION : A method of manufacturing alicyclic (meth)acrylates includes a process of reacting an alicyclic diene compound represented by the general formula (1), where Rand Rare same or different and represent a hydrogen atom or a monovalent organic group, and (meth)acrylic acid, and the reaction process makes the alicyclic diene compound and the (meth)acrylic acid reacted in a presence of a Bronsted acid catalyst of less than 1 mol% based on the alicyclic diene compound. |
