PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an apparatus for concentrating a metal compound capable of concentrating a rare metal with a small environmental load, and appropriate for practical use by a simple device configuration.
SOLUTION : An apparatus 1 for concentrating a metal compound comprises : a reactor furnace 10 for reducing a first solid metal compound in a mixture M of the first metal compound containing gallium by a first metal content to change to a gaseous metal compound, oxidizing the gaseous metal compound to change to a second solid metal compound, and capturing the second solid metal compound by a second metal content higher than the first metal content; a reduction gas-generating means 30 for generating a reduction gas for reducing the first solid metal compound to supply to the reactor furnace 10; an oxygen-containing gas-supplying means 40 for supplying an oxygen-containing gas G1 for generating the reduction gas G2 to the reduction gas-generating means 30; and a gas-heating means 50 for heating the oxygen-containing gas.
