PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an element analysis method of an aggregate capable of analyzing a content of various trace elements containing a rear earth element in the aggregate with high accuracy.
SOLUTION : An element analysis method of an aggregate includes [1] a decomposition step of mixing an aggregate and a first mixed acid containing hydrofluoric acid and nitric acid to decompose the aggregate, and thereby evaporating at least a part of the first mixed acid to obtain a decomposition product of the aggregate, a concentration step of mixing the decomposition product and perchloric acid, heating the obtained mixed liquid, and evaporating at least a part of a volatile component from the mixed liquid to obtain a concentrate of the mixed liquid, and a dissolution step of mixing the concentrate and a second mixed acid containing boric acid and nitric acid to dissolve the concentrate, where [2] the dissolution step includes dissolving fluoride contained in the concentrate, and [3] the fluoride is a solid component in the concentrate.
