The wavelength conversion material comprises resin particles comprising an acrylic resin encapsulating an organic rare earth metal complex, and is characterized in that the acrylic resin contains, as a monomer, a hydrophobic monomer having a higher n-octanol/water partition coefficient than that of methylmethacrylate, and furthermore is a polymer obtained by reacting an acrylic resin composition containing a cross-linking agent and an azo initiator. |
