PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a manufacturing method of a multi-component polymer capable of manufacturing the multi-component polymer of a conjugated diene compound, a non-conjugated olefin compound and an aromatic vinyl compound at low cost with good efficiency.
SOLUTION : A manufacturing method has a process for polymerizing a conjugated diene compound, a non-conjugated olefin compound and an aromatic vinyl compound in presence of a catalyst composition containing a rare earth element compound represented by the following formula (I). M-(AQ1)(AQ2)(AQ3) (I), where M is scandium, yttrium or lanthanoid elements, AQ1, AQ2 and AQ3 are functional groups which may be same or different, A is nitrogen, oxygen or sulfur and has at least one M-A bond.
