PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a device and a method by which R-chamfering can be performed with a better efficiency than a conventional one, and a method for manufacturing a rare-earth sintered magnet using the same.
SOLUTION : A chamfering device 100 comprises a first planetary brush 10a, a second planetary brush 10b, a conveyor belt 20, and a presser belt 30. A magnet piece 1 is transported in the state of being stably held between the conveyor belt 20 and the presser belt 30. The first planetary brush 10a and the second planetary brush 10b are located in the midway of a transportation path regulated by the conveyor belt 20 and the presser belt 30. The first planetary brush 10a and the second planetary brush 10b are located on sides opposite to each other with respect to the transportation path, and the first planetary brush 10a and the second planetary brush 10b are so located as not to face each other.
