The present invention relates to a method for treating the surface of a sintered rare-earth magnet. The method for treating the surface of a sintered rare-earth magnet includes a step of coating and curing a composition for forming a coating layer on the surface of the sintered rare-earth magnet to form the coating layer. The composition for forming the coating layer includes a modified epoxy resin, a curing agent, and an inorganic particle.
