FIELD : chemistry.
SUBSTANCE : REE-containing Y-type zeolite and method of production thereof are proposed. Zeolite has a REE content on REE oxides basis of 10 to 25 wt %, unit cell size of 2, 440 to 2, 472 nm, a crystallinity of 35 to 65%, Si/Al atomic ratio in the skeleton of 2.5 to 5.0 . The product of I1 peak intensity ratio at 2θ=11.8±0.1° to the I2 peak intensity at 2θ=12.3±0, 1° at the X-ray zeolite diffraction pattern and the mass percentage of REE content on REE oxides basis in the zeolite is more than 55. The method of production is carried out by the stagewise ion exchange using REE ions and ammonium.
EFFECT : obtaining REE-containing Y zeolite which has an improved structural stability.
