简介 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an oxide superconductor capable of improving critical current density in a magnetic field and a manufacturing method therefor. SOLUTION : There is provided an oxide superconductor satisfying SD(Ms)>0.15, where Ms is a metal element of which R(M1) or R(M3) is not large at a position of 50% of average film thickness of a cross section including a c axis in an oxide system having REBa2Cu3O7-x, where RE is "RE element group", any element of Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Y, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb, Lu, wherein at least 3 kinds of metal elements (M1, M2, M3) are contained in RE and the 3 kinds of metal elements are any element selected from the RE element group in this order, and satisfying R(M1)≤20 mol%, R(M2)≥60 mol% and R(M3)≤20 mol% when R(M1) is an average metal element ratio of M1 in M1+M2+M3.
