PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an anisotropic optical film which has a single anisotropic diffusion layer and is, however, capable of diffusion and condensation of light in a wide incidence angle range, without giving any unnatural impression.SOLUTION : An anisotropic optical film includes a single anisotropic diffusion layer 7 having, inside thereof, at least a low refractive index region 4 and a high refractive index region 6. On surfaces 5a, 5b of the single anisotropic diffusion layer 7, a low refractive index region 4 and a high refractive index region 6 are alternately arranged. The low refractive index region 4 and the high refractive index region 6 each have a structure bended and extended in a thickness direction, in a cross section of the single anisotropic diffusion layer 7. The anisotropic optical film has a first diffusion center axis Rin an upper part 71 of the single anisotropic diffusion layer 7 and a second diffusion center axis Rin a middle part 72 of the single anisotropic diffusion layer 7. The inclination of the first diffusion center axis Rand the inclination of the second diffusion center axis Rare different from each other with respect to a normal direction. |
