PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a deodorant resin composition which is excellent in sustainability of a deodorizing effect, and has a function of deodorizing not only a sulfur-based odorous substance such as hydrogen sulfide and methyl mercaptan but also an odorous substance such as a lower fatty acid and a body odor component, and to provide a masterbatch.
SOLUTION : A deodorant resin composition is formed by kneading a glassy deodorant 2 formed of alkali-alkaline earth-borosilicate glass containing a copper component or alkali-alkaline earth-silicate glass containing a copper component into a base resin 1; and has a function of decomposing an odor component by a catalytic composition of the copper component held in the glass.
