简介 Provided is a bearing support structure capable of handling an emergency maximum load that occurs infrequently, and allowing a fatigue load to be used in determining the constitution of the bearing during normal operation. A bearing support structure for rotatable cantilevered support of the main shaft (7) of a rotor head (4) that rotates around a shaft line, the bearing support structure being provided with a double-row conical roller bearing (10) capable of independently supporting the front-end side of a shaft section of the rotor head (4) as a cantilever beam upon which a moment is exerted, and a sliding bearing (20) for supporting the rear end side of a shaft section of the double-row conical roller bearing (10). The double-row conical roller bearing (10) independently supports the main shaft (7) during normal operation when a load equal to or less than a predetermined value is exerted, and the sliding bearing (20) supports the main shaft (7) in conjunction with the double-row conical roller bearing (10) only during an emergency operation when a large load that exceeds the predetermined value is exerted.
